Constitution Day
On September 17th, 1787, the Constitution of the United States of America was signed and ratified. Constitution Day celebrates this momentous occasion.

In 2004, US law was passed to make September 17th Constitution Day, and the week surrounding this day to be known as Constitution Week. This law required Institutions of Education, as well as Federal and State offices, to celebrate Constitution Day and to promote education of the U.S. Constitution.
